Hey guys! Sorry for being absent again, I miss you but job is important.

My PC slowly dying so unfortunately I cannot make any new videos... But I do some works and take photos and post them into my instagram. Would love to see new friends there^^ - @whynotdragon

And now lets begin.
Not long ago I got my subscription box which is beauty box 5. I ordered mystery box for 10$ which is like promotional stuff which you can get even without registration and you know, I think the mystery box is better than the usual one as it contains more interesting stuff and I've got 2 full-size products while the regular box costs 12$ and you will get only one full-size thing.

Lets start with the May box itself. (right click and open to view larger) Sorry for crap photos.

The card inside contains all the info about products you've got. You also get discount in Styli-Style and the card with a 'chance to win full-size products of this month box' which is obviously tells that you should take a photo of a box and post it in any social media and tag beautybox5.
Now the stuff!
1. Very cute mini tweezers by BioSwiss which I think are good for travelers but I dont find it very useful in daily life and prefer to use full-sized tweezers for eyebrows, just more comfortable to hold.
2. Ahava my skin reborn. Veeery good thing in an eco friendly package, my skin was glad to get those and it felt nice but unfortunately 3 little samples are not enough to understand the result properly as its supposed to be long term usage stuff.
3. Dermalogica hand and nail treetment - just awesome. Makes hands very smooth and soft. I like it, and I like Dermalogiza in general, even the sample tube is fine for about 4-5 days.
4. Styli-Style champagne highlighter. Awesome, leaves a nice light golden highlights on your skin,, glide it on and blend with fingers, I was using it on upper part of my cheekbones. Didn't like the package as when you turn the tube to get more products it shows a bit more but when you try to put it on a skin, the product falls back into a tube.
5. Coastal scents angled brush. Very soft but I have no idea where I can use it at the moment as its really too soft.

The Mystery box. Which I liked even more cause of 2 full-size products and good combination of stuff.

In here you can find kind of promotional stuff which is supposed to make you subscribe to the monthly box. The card says about it.
1. Natural style by FUBU hair conditioner. Leaves smooth fine hydrated hair and works good for tips of my hair which are really dry.
2. Nicka K New York full size eye light crayon in gold. Its really a light one, works even better like highlighter as its not very pigmented to be an eyeshadow stick.
3. DenTek toothpick and dental floss 2 in 1. There are 6 of them in a nice package, I liked it, useful thing.
4. Juice Beauty stem cellular moisturizer organic eye treatment. This little thing smells amazing! I'm just in love with citrus scent of it. Cools and moisturizes the eye area. Small but quite economical, will be fine for about 2 weeks of every day usage as you need just a tiny drop to cover eye lids.
5. ChapStick hydrating lipstick. Its much better than 'baby lips' by Maybelline, works even for very dry lips and make them soft and smooth. The dupe for it is neutrogena chapstick which I have too.

So thats pretty all for now. I will get a wallmart box this week and will post my thoughts of it too. Also the box is free and you will pay only for shipping 5$ each quarter of the year.

Makeup Revolution Haul

Hey babes!
I've purchased the makeup revolution products in late January and they came to me 4.5 weeks later. Not that bad for general mail services:)

Now I've tested all of the things and would love to share my experience with you. I've ordered non-pallettes products as everybody talks about palletes and kits and things like that, and sometimes there are too many pallettes reviews but almost nobody talks about some other products of this brand.

So lets start this post with the face primer.

The package came to me slightly deformed as an additional air pushes the product out of the tube and lid cant hold it inside. The product itself is great, gives very smooth texture and holds makeup perfectly. Comparing to ELF Hydrating Face Primer - this one is better. You can open a photo in a new tab and check the ingredients.

The second one - The One liquid foundation in shade 2.

Its very light, weightless and gives nice coverage without cakey effect working best with primer. It matches pale skin so if you have a pale skin you can try this foundation.
Notice that it doesn't cover redness or any skin problems you might have.
The package is only 29ml or 1oz which is a tiny tube for me but its very cute and 5 drops are enough to cover the whole face.

Next one - Focus and Fix concealer in the lightest shade.

Kind of creamy more than liquid, very light.
Gives nice even skin tone but cannot cover redness, small imperfections and dark under eye circles, makes them slightly lighter though. Not bad to use together with the foundation. Personally I prefer 2in1 highlighter and concealer by ELF Studio to this one.

Eye Primer. Huge matte eye primer!

Extremely nice and currently is the best among similar things I've used. A bit darker than I need but holds eyeshadow great and doesn't change its color. Same situation as with the primer - extra air pushes the product out of a tube when you open it. This lid holds product fine so its not a problem. And I love its package, purple is one of my favorite colors.

And its really amazing as its written. Perfect nude color. Love it, just love it.

Bronzeeeeer! Baby this is incredible thing which I absolutely love!

Its huge! Its shimmery! Its golden brown chocolate!

Really awesome thing and doesn't look orangy on pale skin, huge plus! I want to purchase other two shades now.

Blushing hearts and heart highlighters.

Awesomest package I've ever seen. Small boxes with great design. I love it for only package already.

The Goddess of love is extremely golden highlighter which doesnt look yellow on skin but gives a nice highlight just like the sun light gently touched your skin.

Blushing heart is 'Iced Hearts' look like a slightly pink but more silver highlighter and they are invisible in my pale skin though supposed to be a blush. For me its just a cool pinky-silver highlight which I absolutely adore! Again - want to get the whole collection of blushing hearts and highlighters by Makeup Revolution.

Last two but not least. Lipsticks!

I've bought two - nude and dark one. I dont wear lipsticks much but these two are great.

Texture is smooth, gives proper color but the lipstick in a package itself looks a bit different than on your lips.

Nude one is my another love - smells like caramel, feels like heaven and I want to eat it as it remind me of caramel soft sweets... Cute heart shaped lipstick that has fine nude color on lips.

The other one might seem dark red but its actually not. The color in a flashlight is bright red, in sunlight it's dark red but on my pink lips it becomes brown-red. Weird hah, but nice anyway. Doesn't have any scent at all.

Makeup theory: neutral and monochromatic colors

This post is the 3rd in 3rd day and this is the end of quick color theory.

Today I'm going to tell you some things about neutral and monochromatic colors which are the most useful colors in makeup.

There are many monochromatic and neutral palettes and everybody LOVE them.
You're not sure in it, aren't you?

Well, let me explain and show examples.

Neutral colors

Neutral color is neither warm nor cool and that's why they are extremely wearable for different people.

They look good on its own and can be easily matched with any other color.

Black is the strongest of the neutral colors. On the positive side, it’s commonly associated with power, elegance, and formality. On the negative side, it can be associated with evil, death, and mystery.
White is at the opposite end of the spectrum from black, but like black, it can work well with just about any other color. White is often associated with purity, cleanliness, and virtue. In the West, white is commonly worn by brides on their wedding day. White is associated with goodness, and angels are often depicted in white.
Brown is associated with the earth, wood, and stone. It’s a completely natural color and a warm neutral. Brown can be associated with dependability and reliability, with steadfastness, and with earthiness. It can also be considered dull.
Beige is somewhat unique in the color spectrum, as it can take on cool or warm tones depending on the colors surrounding it. It has the warmth of brown and the coolness of white, and, like brown, is sometimes seen as dull. It’s a conservative color in most instances, and is usually reserved for backgrounds. It can also symbolize piety.
Ivory and Cream are sophisticated colors, with some of the warmth of brown and a lot of the coolness of white. They’re generally quiet, and can often evoke a sense of history. Ivory is a calm color, with some of the pureness associated with white, though it’s a bit warmer.

“The meanings and impressions of neutral colors are much more affected by the colors that surround them than are warm and cool colors”. Thats why the most universal colors that works on any skin tone are actually earthy/taupe tone colors.

Monochromatic colors

Monochromatic color schemes are made up of different tones, shades and tints within one hue. For example, a monochromatic scheme of the color blue would be the Blue Color Family ranging from the lightest sky blue, to a medium shade of ocean blue, to the darkest navy blue.

These are the simplest color schemes to create, as they’re all taken from the same hue.

Similar to the neutral colors we talked about earlier, we find in the cosmetics industry that the neural colors are the most universal colors make-up artists use for everyday on everyone; in addition, different shades of browns and grays in the monochromatic colors are often created in a variety of texture (matte, shimmer, velvet, cream) to produce a handy eye shadow palette for make-up artists to use.

Everyones favorite Urban Decay uses both neutral and monochromatic colors in their Naked palettes. I think this is one of the reason girls like Naked, Naked 2 and Naked Basics eyeshadow palettes.

Makeup theory: color correction and concealers

This post is for color correction mostly.

All my life I thought I should use light beige concealer to correct my under eye circles. I used it and there were no effect except yellow color under my eyes and to cover the blue circle I have to put more concealer on it which was very bad.

Later I've found out that I have rosy-pale skin and I need pink or salmon color concealer and that definitely saved my skin from too much product and covered all the blue circles under my eyes.

To conceal all the imperfections you should definitely know its color and which color will cover them even with a small amount of product.
And this is where the simple color wheel takes place.

* Except pale skin and rosy-pale which should be covered with a little different colors.

Complimentary colors is the thing we definitely need.

Chinese copy of american eyeshadow palettes. Worth it or not?

As I promised, today will show the review and swatches of the chinese palette that pretend to be a MAC neutral palette.

I've bought this one just being curious. It costs about 8-12$.
Many american beauty products made in China and sometimes their goods are not that bad at all.

The palette package is quite good, made of plastic and similar to original one.
