Yesterday I was trying to create a Mystiques hand and I've painted myself in blue but it wasn't enough and then I added some scales she has. That looked nice in real life but my phone decided the other way and I'm upset now.
This is what I've got:
Take an aquacolor bodypaint in blue, paint yourself as hard as you can, just have fun! YIIII *futurama mode on*!
Take black eyeshadow and fill your nails with the first and second phalanx of your hand. This will add an interesting gradient effect.
Using flat eyeshadow brush paint half circle scales with black. Find dark blue and fill the other half of the circles with it. You can imagine any scale pattern or use natural lizard/snake patter to paint scales. (I've tried to follow this: )
And that's it! Video will be up later and I'll renew this post with it.
Hope you like this damn bad photos anyway.
- Sincerely yours Violet Dragon
Want to tell that I've decided to write a post once a week cause its quite difficult to write something good every day and I don't want to share some trash with my readers. Hope you understand me and this wont become a bad thing for all of us. I'll be creating small videos once a week too to show what I can do or try to achieve.
I really appreciate your support cause I see you read posts I create. Thank you guys!

Matte lips look good and shiny lips too and natural lips and many other but... ombre lips are the most sexy and awesome thing I've ever seen. Though guys usually don't like a lipstick at all :)
Here is the example:
Everything is soooooo easy here!
Very simple to create those lips. If you want to have 2 colors lips - all you need is a lip pencil and a lipstick of colors you like. Its important to have colors that match each other in a color wheel. Purple and black or black and red, light pink and red, nude and light pink.
Tutorial in 2 steps:
1. Contour you lips with black pencil and slightly drag it to the center of your lips, more colors in corners, less color to the center. First color should always be darker than the main one.
You should create a very clean outline and it doesn't matter what you'll draw inside your lips :)
2. Fill your lips with a lipstick as you usually do it. Following the contour line.
That's it! You can add a lip gloss if you like and everything's ready. Too easy to do so just take any two colors and draw!

Hi guys! That were difficult weekend but I've got another idea for tutorial, still my hand, cause nobody and nothing can hold my phone while filming. Still trying to find and buy the camera and tripod for normal tutorials to show everything I can do :)
Have a good week and stay awesome!

Hi again!
Just decided to tell a bit about nails. I'm actually working with nails for about 4 years (almost 5).
I've started with acrylic nails and now I work with gel cause it doesn't smell at all but I miss acrylic powder... Below are nails I've created once:
To be more clear: acrylic powder + liquid + photoelements = gel. So it's all the same material just in different form.
To get stronger camouflage gel - I add acrylic camouflage powder into the clear gel and that's it! Profit! Best thing I've ever used.
Yeah. Nails. To keep natural nails healthy just eat healthy, take fish oil pills and calcium. Use cuticle oil and do your usual manicure. Don't do your home work without gloves. Easy, right?
Now artificial nails - they don't afraid of anything, actually. It's quite comfortable to wear gel nails.
But the most annoying thing for me is your nails shape done by someone who doesn't know about nail architecture!
I hate that wide square you wear! It makes me angry actually. I like works of famous russian masters cause they know how to create reeeealllyy beautiful nails.
Let me explain.
Take a look at a wide square nails - they look like a spade!
Just compare these two:
The second ones were created by some russian girl and I like them! The're nice, clean, thin and they have an architecture!
Look at your natural nails from the side and then straight towards you - you will see an arch that should be kept in any artificial nails.

Actually there are too many shapes in the world cause peoples imagination is unlimited.
But basic shapes are
Take all the same care for your artificial nails which you have with our natural once. Cuticle oil is very important for them. Use it at least once a day.

Tiny post with 10 simple rules.
I know you like lists cause I can see you reading it ;)
So. 10 rules to keep your skin healthy in winter
1. Wash you face with cool water.
I know, not many people like cool water cause warm water seems better. But its not. Warm or hot water damages your skin and make it start peeling off.
2. Use special washing lotions or foams
I've told about it in the previous posts but will repeat again. Wash your face with some special thing that will hydrate your skin.
3. Day cream and makeup is better to be applied 1 hour before you go somewhere.
It's recommended to have a cream with glycerin, it protects skin.
4. It's necessary to use soft scrub or peeling once a week.
Actually scrubbing helps to peel off the dead skin cells. Don't use it often though.
5. Use hygienic lipstick
When the weather is windy or cold always use chapstics. Don't even try to use glosses or shiny lipsticks cause it cannot protect your lips as it should. Simple hygienic lipstick without any color will work better.
6. Daily clean the skin, moisturize it, using different creams with vitamins and masks.
The most useful are homemade masks, scrubs and lotions .
7. Wipe your face with tinctures of different herbs.
Those tinctures will prevent peeling and relieve inflammation and also protect skin from bad weather.
8. Don't wash your face and even hands right after you get back home.
Wait for about 5 minutes cause sudden temperature changes will dehydrate your skin.
9. Don't be afraid of heavy oily moisturizing cream.
Apply the cream for a night and use hygienic lipstick before you go to sleep. You will be suprised how soft and delicate your skin and lips can be.
10. Try not to sit under the air conditioner or heater
This will make your whole body feel it dehydrated. It's better not to use the full power of your heater or high temperature on conditioner. When you're at home don't take hot bathes and always use body cream to protect your skin. And you will smell amazing too.

Thanks to Dubsproot, his music is amazing.

Just a tiny post for skin habits you should try out. The video tutorial of cyborg arm is still in process but it will be added soon!
1. New season - new moisturizing cream.
Different seasons bring different problems to your skin and you should definitely solve them. This means every season you should change your skin care products. Many things can stay the same, such as scrubs/exfoliants or serrums but the main product which is moisturizing cream should be changed. You can use heavy oily cream and in summer its better to have oil free creams. Autumn and Spring are more like off-seasons so you can combine your winter and summer cream this period.
2. Say no to fiber sponges. At least for your face.
Its better to exfoliate your skin without any fiber sponges or similar things. Why? Thats just cause they can keep bacteria. Its better not to use those things every day. Leave an idea of every day scrubbing/exfoliating too. Its enough to use such products twice a week or even once in a couple of weeks. Don't damage your skin with scrubs.
3. The beauty is inside
Your skin is a monitor of your health. The skin shows your problems immediately. If the skin is gray there is something wrong with your body. Its highly recommended to check your inner body parts and purge them if needed. You can also add lemon and kiwi into your ration and these two fruits will make your face look better even without fasting days.
4. Additional hydrating
Hydrated skin looks great, young, there are no wrinkles on it. Though cream is not enough for normal hydrating process. You can use humidifier installed in your room to help your skin feel better.
5. Coffeemans
Coffee dehydrates your skin. Don't expect the amazing shine of your skin when you drink much coffee. Same situation with alcohol. Every cup of coffee or alcohol drink should be compensated with same amount of water.
6. Sun protection
If you have dark pigment areas on your skin the sunscreen is necessary for you. Even you don't have some pigment areas use products with SPF doesn't matter its summer or not.
7. Be smart with face masks
Homemade masks are awesome especially if you know which ingredients work best on your skin. Don't follow every recipe you find. Some products wont work the same on you as they work on someone else. You can damage your skin or even chemically burn it with some components of fruits/veggies. The most safe things for masks are oats, aloe and avocado.
8. Don't rush
Please do not expect immediate results from the procedure you've just had. Some doctors think your skin needs 21 day to get accustomed to some new product or cream or something else. Just be patient in it.
9. Switch cucumber to potato
I know many of you have seen cucumber slices on someones faces in movies or in real life. Try to change the cucumber to potato. It works even better on dark circles, it cools the skin and reduces swelling. Potato starch has anti-inflammatory effect. Just put your clean potato to the fridge and then put slices to your eye area for about 10 minutes. After that simply wash your face with water.

I've found a great picture:
From this:
I think I've made some mistakes and this could be done even better but I like the final result and in real life it looked even better than on photo.
Stay tuned, the video will be here soon.
Usually people just wash their faces with water and some face wash lotion or something like that and its ok. At least for first 10 years of wearing the makeup. Bit this is not the best solution at all.
Face washing should be just like a massage for your face to help skin feel itself better.
Makeup removing is very similar to makeup process but not many people think this thing worth it.
You should get the right makeup removing lotion/mousse/gel/milk/foam for your skin type and please please please don't use soap! Besides you should use good quality cotton pads or cotton swabs.

When I was a teenager I didn't like the makeup cause I had no idea how to use it. I didn't even know where to start and what should I apply.
My mom hasn't been helpful in this case cause she almost doesn't use any cosmetics.
In this post I've decided to tell about makeup products for beginners of any age.

Yes, yes, I know, there are a HUUUGE pale of tips and tricks for eyeliners but I still want to share some information with you.
People are asymmetrical, there are no two ideal identical parts.
But the asymmetry is so light that we almost cannot see it though. Girls might notice that eyeliner is usually drawn great on one eye but we cannot repeat the same on the other eye.

So today is the post of how to draw you face in 3d!
Hah, that's actually very simple and very complicated thing at a time.
Why?
Cause its easy to do the contour and highlight but its difficult to find colors that would work great at your skin.
Just imagine that there is a lamp in front of you and it shines directly onto your face. Which areas on your face will get more light and where would be the shadow?
That's right, areas which will be lighted is where you need to highlight your skin and shadows are in areas where you have to contour your face.
Matching your skin color is the main thing you should find out.
Highlight color is easier to find, its just your main skin tone + a bit of white so you can use the concealer/highlighter/foundation about 1 tone lighter than your main foundation.
Contour color should look like natural shadows of your face. You can try to put some pressure with your finger to your cheek and the color around your finger is the right shadow color.
Yeah, its easier to use bronzer or contour kit from some beauty company but it doesn't match skin tone sometimes. I'm the proud owner of rosy-pale skin (as you know from previous posts) and my contour should be... rosy-gray. Almost all bronzers look yellow or brown on me and I haven't found the right color in a ready contour palette yet so I have to use different products to get the normal color.

Halloween has just passed and I've made some looks which probably I will show you later, though I can tell who were characters I've made:
Pumpkin King
Darth Maul
Cheshire cat
Joker
Big mouth clown
Zombie
Punisher skull
Absinthe fairy
Doll
Spider Quinn
And now I'm continuing the theory! It's helpful and may solve some problems with makeup.
Brushes!
Its all about the brushes we use.

Hello!
Halloween has just passed and I had a huge bunch of work on it. I was creating 8 characters and 2 simple makeups that day and it made me really tired. Its hard to spend 5 hours on your feet painting people, don't you agree?
Anyways, now I will show how to create very simple open wound with stitches which looks better on a bit tanned skin, cause I have very pale skin and some colors I've used couldn't match it.
Colors of paint were mixed by myself mostly but you can try to find similar colors or mix them yourself too.
These are the tools I've used.
1. Simplest eyeshadow I've found in a bit dark red, black, light pink, a bit more pinky, natural beige and light beige. (Pink eyeshadow are not necessary if you don't have pale skin)
2. Liquid paints in black, white, red and dark red. I've mixed red and a drop of black to get dark red. Those paints used to be Kryolan aquacolors liquid. But you can use 2/4 gouache, 1/4 acrylic paint and 1/4 glycerin to get those paint. Please don't use them much or often and apply some primer on your face before applying gouache.
